Dein Profil

Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium in Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Produktdesign oder einem verwandten Bereich
Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Hardware-Produktentwicklung, vorzugsweise in den Bereichen Unterhaltungselektronik, IoT oder Transport
Fundiertes Verständnis der Hardware-Entwicklungsprozesse, einschließlich Design, Prototyping, Fertigung und Lieferkettenmanagement
Analytische, datengetriebene Denkweise, Problemlösungs- und Entscheidungsmindset, hohe Kundenorientierung
Sehr gute Kommunikations-, Kollaborations- und Führungsfähigkeiten
Leidenschaft für Nachhaltigkeit, Stadtplanung und den Einsatz von Technologie zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualität in Städten durch Hardware-Innovation
Englischkenntnisse auf C1-Niveau, zusätzliche Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

Your mission

Discover

Conduct market research, user research, and competitive analysis to understand market trends, user needs, and opportunities for hardware innovation
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on insights gathered from research and stakeholder input
Identify key metrics and success criteria to measure the effectiveness of hardware initiatives

Define

Translate market insights and business goals into clear hardware requirements, specifications, and feature definitions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and define the minimum viable product (MVP) for hardware releases
Develop hardware roadmaps and release plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs

Develop

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to oversee the development and production of hardware components and products
Lead the design process, including product design, prototyping, and testing, to ensure high quality, reliability, and user satisfaction
Conduct iterative testing, gather feedback, and iterate on hardware designs to optimize performance, durability, and user experience

Deliver

Develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new hardware products and feature enhancements.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling messaging and promotional materials for hardware products.
Monitor hardware performance, gather user feedback, and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Drive ongoing hardware iteration and improvement based on user feedback, market trends, and business objectives

Your profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Proven experience (3+ years) in hardware product management roles, preferably in consumer electronics, IoT, or transportation industries
Strong understanding of hardware development processes, including design, prototyping, manufacturing, and supply chain management
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven and customer-centric mindset
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Passion for sustainability, urban planning, and leveraging technology to improve quality of life in cities through hardware innovation
English language skills (C1), additionally German skills are preferred
