Your mission
Execute development projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness within the product development framework (PDP)
Develop technical concepts and solutions, including ERDs and patents
Create CAD designs, drawings, and perform FEA analysis
Coordinate with suppliers on technical aspects
Oversee prototyping, testing, and documentation of development results.
Serve as the primary contact for technical inquiries.
Approve and review technical drawings, focusing on mechanical components.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Engineer and TPM on sprint priorities
Your profile
Degree or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
5+ years in hardware/product development, ideally in mobility, bike, or automotive sectors
Proficient in CAD, 2D drawings, GD&T, and FEA for mechanical components
Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and production processes
Experience in technical concepts, patents, and ERDs
Familiar with mechanical design standards (ISO, DIN, EN)
Hands-on experience in prototyping, testing, and PDP
Fluent in English (C1), German is a plus
Skilled in agile development (Scrum, Kanban) and supplier coordination
Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and structured approach
Strong communication and teamwork, ability to document and present technical results clearly
Willingness to (partially) work on-site at our locations in Leipzig/Germany (or Krakow/Poland)
