What to expect:

Lead groundbreaking development projects with a strong sense of quality, timing, and cost-awareness
Design technical concepts with real wow-factor – from ERDs to patent-worthy solutions
Create impressive CAD designs and perform FEA analyses that even physics professors would admire
Communicate clearly with suppliers and steer them in the right technical direction
Orchestrate the entire process from prototyping and testing to documentation – like a true tech maestro
Be the technical voice of reason for everyone seeking advice
Review technical drawings with a sharp eye and improve mechanical components
Work side by side with the Lead Engineer and TPM to set sprint priorities

Your profile

Degree/apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar
Solid experience in hardware/product development (mobility/bike/automotive)
Strong in CAD, GD&T, FEA, and mechanical design standards (ISO/DIN/EN)
Know-how in materials, manufacturing, patents, and ERDs
Hands-on with prototyping, testing, and PDP
Agile mindset (Scrum/Kanban), experienced in supplier coordination
Fluent English (C1); German a plus
Willing to work partly on-site (Krakow or Leipzig)

Deine Aufgaben

Entwicklungsprojekte im Rahmen des PDP (Product Development Process) umsetzen, unter Berücksichtigung von Qualität, Terminen und Kosteneffizienz
Technische Konzepte und Lösungen entwickeln, einschließlich ERDs und Patente
CAD-Designs und Zeichnungen erstellen sowie FEA-Analysen durchführen
Koordination technischer Abstimmungen mit Lieferanten
Überwachung von Prototyping, Tests und Dokumentation der Entwicklungsergebnisse
Hauptschnittstelle für technische Anfragen
Technische Zeichnungen freigeben und überprüfen, mit Fokus auf mechanische Komponenten
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Lead Engineer und TPM zur Priorisierung von Sprint-Themen

Dein Profil

Abschluss oder Ausbildung in Maschinenbau, Mechatronik oder einem verwandten Bereich
5+ Jahre Erfahrung in der Hardware-/Produktentwicklung, idealerweise in den Bereichen Mobilität, Fahrrad oder Automobil
Sicherer Umgang mit CAD, 2D-Zeichnungen, GD&T und FEA für mechanische Komponenten
Fundierte Kenntnisse in Werkstoffkunde, Fertigungstechnologien und Produktionsprozessen
Erfahrung mit technischen Konzepten, Patenten und ERDs
Vertraut mit mechanischen Konstruktionsstandards (ISO, DIN, EN)
Praktische Erfahrung in Prototyping, Testing und PDP
Fließend in Englisch (C1), Deutsch von Vorteil
Erfahrung mit agiler Entwicklung (Scrum, Kanban) und Lieferantenkoordination
Analytisches Denkvermögen, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Problemlösungskompetenz
Starke Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit, Fähigkeit zur Dokumentation und Präsentation technischer Ergebnisse
Bereitschaft zur (teilweisen) Präsenzarbeit in unseren Standorten Leipzig oder Krakau
