Your mission
Execute development projects within the framework of the Product Development Process (PDP), ensuring quality, deadlines, and cost efficiency
Develop technical concepts and solutions, including creation of ERDs, CAD designs, technical drawings, and performing FEA analyses
Manage and coordinate technical topics with suppliers and internal interfaces
Oversee prototyping, testing, and documentation of development results
Responsible for reviewing and releasing technical drawings, with a focus on mechanical components
Act as the primary contact for technical inquiries within the project environment
Work closely with the Lead Engineer and TPM to prioritize and align sprint topics
Your profile
Degree or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Excellent English skills (C1); German language skills are a plus
Willingness to work partially on-site at our Leipzig (or Krakow) locations
Several years (5+ years) of experience in hardware and product development, preferably in the fields of mobility, cycling, or automotive
Proficient in using CAD tools, technical drawings (including GD&T), FEA, as well as technical concepts, patents, and ERDs
Solid knowledge of materials science, manufacturing technologies, production processes, and mechanical design standards (ISO, DIN, EN)
Hands-on experience in prototyping, testing, and the Product Development Process (PDP)
Experience with agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban) and technical coordination with suppliers
Strong analytical and structured working style, problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to document and present technical content
