Du unterstützt uns bei der Umsetzung von Entwicklungsprojekten im Rahmen unseres Product Development Process (PDP). Folgende Aufgaben erwarten dich:
Durchführung von Prototypenaufbauten, Tests und Fehleranalysen an Hardware-Prototypen und Dokumentation der Ergebnisse
Unterstützung der Engineering Teams bei:
der Erstellung von CAD-Designs, Technischen Zeichnungen & FEA
der Kontrolle von Stücklisten & Aufträgen sowie dem Warehouse-Management
Machbarkeitsanalysen sowie Recherche- & Dokumentationsaufgaben
der Validierung von Prototypen/Mustern
3D-Druck
Planung von & Unterstützung bei Events (User-Tests, Messen, Demos, etc.)
Dein Profil
Studium in Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, Elektrotechnik oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich (mindestens noch 2 Semester immatrikuliert)
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (C1), gute Deutschkenntnisse (ab B1)
erste Kenntnisse im Umgang mit CAD-Tools und technischen Zeichnungen
gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse (bzw. Google Suite)
Affinität zu Hardware- bzw. Produktentwicklung, vorzugsweise in den Bereichen Mobilität, Fahrrad oder Automobil
analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
Bereitschaft zur (teilweisen) Präsenzarbeit an unserem Firmensitz in Leipzig-Plagwitz

Your mission
At nextbike, we love bicycles and are constantly developing new components and accessory solutions for our sharing bikes. Our goal is to make micromobility safer, smarter, and more sustainable. You will support us in the implementation of development projects within the framework of our Product Development Process (PDP). The following tasks await you:
Assembly of prototypes, testing and failure analysis on hardware prototypes, and documentation of the results
Supporting the engineering teams with:
Creating CAD designs, technical drawings & FEA
Checking bills of materials (BOMs), orders, and warehouse management
Feasibility analyses as well as research and documentation tasks
Validation of prototypes/samples
3D printing
Planning and supporting events (user tests, trade fairs, demos, etc.)
Your profile
Studies in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field (for at least 2 more semesters)
Very good English skills (C1), good German skills (at least B1)
Initial experience with CAD tools and technical drawings
Good skills in MS Office (or Google Suite)
Affinity for hardware and product development, preferably in the fields of mobility, cycling, or automotive
Analytical and structured working style
