Orchestriere und synchronisiere die Arbeit funktionsübergreifender Teams und stelle sicher, dass alle Aspekte mit der übergeordneten Produktvision, den technischen Spezifikationen, Qualitätsstandards, finanziellen Rahmenbedingungen und Projektzeitplänen in allen Phasen übereinstimmen
Behalte Zeitplan und Budget im Blick und informiere Führungskräfte und relevante Stakeholder regelmäßig über Projektfortschritte sowie mögliche Herausforderungen
Identifiziere, bewerte, minimiere und löse proaktiv potenzielle Risiken im gesamten Produktentwicklungsprozess
Arbeite eng mit unseren Engineering-Teams (Hardware und Software), unserer Supply Chain und unseren Operations-Teams zusammen, um Prototyping-Phasen, erste Produktionsläufe und Piloten zu planen und umzusetzen
Stelle sicher, dass alle Produkte die gesetzlichen Vorschriften und unsere Qualitätsrichtlinien erfüllen, bevor sie auf den Markt kommen
Fördere eine Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung in Bezug auf Produktqualität und Kundenzufriedenheit
Entwickle und setze Markteintrittsstrategien sowie Produkteinführungsinitiativen für neue Hardware-Angebote und Funktions-Upgrades unserer Räder um
Dein Profil
Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium in Projektmanagement, Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Produktdesign oder einem verwandten Bereich (MBA oder weiterführender Abschluss von Vorteil)
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (C1-Niveau), zusätzliche Deutschkenntnisse sind ein Plus
Nachgewiesene Erfahrung von 3+ Jahren in technischen Projektmanagement- oder Produktmanagement-Rollen
Fundiertes Verständnis von Hardware-Entwicklungsprozessen
Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit zur Steuerung komplexer Projekte sowie ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Lieferanten und Herstellern von Vorteil

Your mission
Our Project Realization Management team at the nextbike headquarters in Leipzig is looking for support. If you want to spearhead our comprehensive hardware product development lifecycle and help us guide our rental bikes (and other components) from initial concept through to mass production, apply for this role. Here is what awaits you at the European leader in micromobility:
Orchestrate and synchronize cross-functional team efforts, ensuring all aspects align with the overarching product vision, technical specifications, quality benchmarks, financial constraints, and project timelines across all stages
Keep up with the timeline & budget, and provide regular updates on project advancement and potential challenges to leadership and relevant stakeholders
Proactively identify, evaluate, mitigate, and resolve any potential risks throughout the product development process
Collaborate with our Engineering teams (hardware and software), our Supply Chain, and our Operations teams to strategize and implement prototyping phases, initial production runs, and product pilot programs
Ensure that all products meet regulatory standards and company quality guidelines before they reach the market
promote a culture of continuous improvement in product quality and customer satisfaction
Formulate and execute market entry strategies and product launch initiatives for new hardware offerings and feature upgrades of our bikes
Your profile
Completed Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
English language skills (minimum C1), additional German skills are appreciated
Proven experience of 3+ years in technical project management or product management roles
Strong understanding of hardware development processes
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and strong communication skills
Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers is a plus
Willingness to work on-site at least twice a week at our headquarters in Leipzig-Plagwitz (or, alternatively, our Berlin office)
