Das erwartet dich in dieser Rolle:
Du arbeitest eng mit unserem CFO zusammen, um strategische Finanzentscheidungen und die Unternehmensentwicklung voranzutreiben
Führe, inspiriere und entwickele die Teams Accounting, Group Accounting, Treasury und Controlling
Du verantwortest die gesamten Finanzprozesse des Unternehmens – von Budgetierung, Forecasting und Cash-Management bis hin zu Analyse und Rechnungswesen
Du bist Sparringspartner*in des Management-Teams in allen Fragen der Finanzstrategie und bereitest zugleich aussagekräftige Berichte für unser Board vor
Steuere Prozessoptimierungen sowie Effizienzprojekte und ermögliche fundierte Entscheidungen anhand von Finanzdaten und -analysen
Du stellst Compliance und Governance sicher, indem du das interne Kontrollumfeld, Audits und steuerliche Themen gemeinsam mit unseren externen Beratern überwachst
Unterstütze unser Management, unser Board und Finanzinstitutionen mit professionell aufbereiteten Präsentationen, Unterlagen und Berichten
Netzwerke mit unserem gesamten Management-Team und externen Stakeholdern und pflege die Beziehungen
Dein Profil
Masterabschluss in Betriebswirtschaft, Finanzen oder Volkswirtschaft sowie 5–10 Jahre Erfahrung in Finance, Accounting und Controlling
Exzellente mündliche und schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch
Fundierte Führungserfahrung auf Senior-Level im Finanzbereich von Scale-ups oder international tätigen Unternehmen, Aufbau von Best in Class Teams
Tiefes Verständnis von GuV, Bilanz und Cashflow sowie von Rechnungslegungsstandards nach HGB und IFRS
Nachweisbare Erfolge in der Einführung und Anwendung von ERP-Systemen
Hohe Technologieaffinität, sicherer Umgang mit BI-Tools und erste Erfahrung mit dem Einsatz von KI im Finanzbereich
Ausgeprägte Detailorientierung und Organisationsstärke sowie die Fähigkeit, unter Druck Prioritäten zu setzen
Neugierige, reflektierte Denkweise kombiniert mit Pragmatismus und einer Hands-on-Mentalität
Globaler Blickwinkel und internationale Erfahrung über verschiedene Regionen hinweg sind ein Plus
Idealerweise Wohnsitz in Leipzig oder Umgebung bzw. die Bereitschaft, mindestens drei Tage pro Woche in unserem brandneuen Büro im schönen Leipzig-Plagwitz

To strengthen our leadership team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Finance to take responsibility for financial operations and strategic financial management across our entire group. Collaborate with our CFO to drive strategic financial decision-making and corporate development.
You lead, inspire, and develop the teams Accounting, Group Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling
Head financial operations across the company, from budgeting, forecasting, and cash management to analysis and accounting
Act as the lead partner to the management team on financial strategy, while also preparing insightful reports for the advisory board
Guide process improvements and operational efficiency projects, leveraging financial data and insights to support decision-making
Ensure compliance and governance by overseeing the control environment, audits, and tax matters in collaboration with external advisors
Presentation & document support: Draft, polish, and update materials, memos, or presentations for Management, Board, and Financial Institutions
Build and maintain networks with our management team, board, banks, and advisors
Your profile
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics, and 5-10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Controlling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are articulate, clear, and persuasive in German and English
Senior-level finance leadership in scale-up, multi-national organisations
Deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow dynamics as well as accounting standards under HGB/IFRS
Proven track record in implementing and running ERP-systems
tech-savvy in applying BI-Tools and AI in financial operations
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize under pressure
A curious, thoughtful mindset and a bias toward action
A global outlook and an international background or experience across different geographies is a plus
Ideally, you are based in Leipzig or the area and are willing to work on-site at our brand new office in vibrant Leipzig-Plagwitz at least 3 days a week
