Als Reliability Engineer (w/d/m) übernimmst Du Verantwortung für die Performance unserer Hardware von der systematischen Fehleranalyse bis zur Lösungsfindung und Implementierung in unsere Flotte. Deine Arbeit sorgt dafür, dass unsere Systeme langfristig stabil, effizient und nutzerfreundlich bleiben. Hier ist, was dich erwartet:
Analysiere Hardwarefehler, identifiziere deren Ursachen, erstelle fundierte Root-Cause-Analysen (RCA) und betreibe effizientes Troubleshooting
Du entwickelst und implementierst klare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) und sorgst für eine gute Dokumentation aller Prozessschritte
Übergib Lösungen strukturiert an unsere Operations- und Projektteams – und stell sicher, dass sie im Feld funktionieren
Mit Hilfe von Daten überprüfst Du die Wirksamkeit eingeführter Maßnahmen und erkennst Verbesserungspotenziale frühzeitig
Du arbeitest eng und interdisziplinär mit Teams aus Produkt, Technik und Operations zusammen
Dein Profil
Ein abgeschlossenes technisches Bachelor Studium (z.B. in Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen o. ä.) odermehrjährige relevante Berufserfahrung in einem technischen Umfeld (idealerweise in der Fahrradindustrie)
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (C1-Niveau) und gute Deutschkenntnisse (ab B2)
Nachgewiesene Erfahrung von 3+ Jahren in technischen Projektmanagement und/oder systematischer Hardware-Fehleranalyse
Die Fähigkeit, komplexe technische Zusammenhänge verständlich und zielgruppengerecht zu erklären
Know-how in Mikroelektronik, E-Bike-Systemen sowie RCA-Methoden und Troubleshooting
Erfahrung in einem internationalen Umfeld von Vorteil
Bereitschaft zur Präsenzarbeit (idealerweise 4 Tage pro Woche) in unserem schönen Firmensitz in Leipzig-Plagwitz

Your mission
Help us making our national and international bike-sharing systems even more reliable! As a Reliability Engineer (f/m/d), you’ll take responsibility for the performance of our hardware - from systematic failure analysis to solution development and implementation across our fleet. Your work ensures that our systems remain stable, efficient, and user-friendly in the long term. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Analyze hardware failures, identify their causes, create thorough Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), and perform efficient troubleshooting
Develop and implement clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring solid documentation of all process steps
Hand over solutions in a structured way to our operations and project teams, and make sure they work effectively in the field
Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures and identify improvement opportunities early on
Collaborate closely and cross-functionally with teams from Product, Engineering, and Operations
Your profile
A completed technical Bachelor’s degree (e.g. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field) orseveral years of relevant professional experience in a technical environment (ideally in the bicycle industry)
Excellent English skills (C1 level) and good German skills (B2 level or higher)
Proven experience of 3+ years in technical project management and/or systematic hardware failure analysis
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and audience-appropriate way
Solid know-how in microelectronics, e-bike systems, as well as RCA methods and troubleshooting
Experience working in an international environment is an advantage
Willingness to work on-site (ideally 4 days per week) at our beautiful headquarters in Leipzig-Plagwitz
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
