Als Senior Technical Quality Manager (w/m/d) stellst du sicher, dass unsere Produkte stets die höchsten technischen und sicherheitsrelevanten Standards für unsere Nutzer*innen erfüllen. Du arbeitest eng mit der Produktentwicklung, unseren Lieferanten und der Produktion zusammen, um die Qualität von Komponenten, Systemen und kompletten Fahrrädern zu testen, zu validieren und kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Mit deinem analytischen Denken und deiner praxisorientierten Arbeitsweise treibst du Prozessoptimierungen voran, verantwortest das Lieferantenqualitätsmanagement und spielst eine zentrale Rolle bei der Sicherstellung der Zuverlässigkeit und Leistungsfähigkeit unserer Produkte. Hier ist, was dich erwartet:
Du unterstützt unsere Produktentwicklung bei Tests und Validierungen von Komponenten, Systemen und kompletten Fahrrädern gemäß relevanter Qualitätsstandards und Vorschriften
Du verbesserst kontinuierlich unsere Qualitätsprozesse in enger Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Stakeholdern
Definiere, überwache und analysiere Qualitäts-KPIs in der Produktion, um durch regelmäßige Inspektionen eine gleichbleibend hohe Produkt- und Komponentenqualität sicherzustellen
Du identifizierst, analysierst und behebst Qualitätsprobleme über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus hinweg – in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Lieferanten, internen/externen Produktionspartnern und Engineering-Teams
Verantworte das Lieferantenqualitätsmanagement, einschließlich:
Erstellung von Reklamationsberichten und Bereitstellung von Qualitätsfeedback über den gesamten Produkt- und Komponentenlebenszyklus
Definition und Pflege von Acceptance Quality Levels (AQLs) sowie weiterer technischer Dokumentationen
Planung, Koordination und Nachverfolgung von Lieferantenaudits und Korrekturmaßnahmen
Dein Profil
Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Mechatronik oder einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet (ein MBA oder weiterführender Abschluss ist von Vorteil)
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (Niveau C1) und gute Deutschkenntnisse (Niveau B2 oder höher)
Nachgewiesene Berufserfahrung von 5+ Jahren im Produktions- und Lieferantenqualitätsmanagement (idealerweise in der Fahrradindustrie)
Fundiertes Verständnis von (Elektro-) Fahrrädern und Komponenten sowie deren Entwicklungs- und Fertigungsprozessen
Nachweisliche Fähigkeit, Produktprobleme zu analysieren und zu lösen (sowie die Fähigkeit, dies alles zu dokumentieren)
Teamfähigkeit, aber auch eigenständige und verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise
Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Stakeholder-Management-Fähigkeiten, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise, Anpassungsfähigkeit und Belastbarkeit
Bereitschaft zur Arbeit vor Ort (idealerweise mindestens zwei Tage pro Woche) an unserem Hauptsitz in Leipzig-Plagwitz
Reisebereitschaft national und international (bis zu 25 %)

Your mission
We are the leading provider of bike sharing and micromobility solutions in Europe. As our new Senior Technical Quality Manager (f/d/m), you ensure that our products keep meeting the highest technical and safety standards for our users. You work closely with Product Development, suppliers, and our production to test, validate, and continuously improve the quality of components, systems, and complete bicycles. With your analytical mindset and hands-on approach, you drive process improvements, manage supplier quality, and play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our products. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Support our Product Development in testing and validating components, systems, and complete products in line with relevant quality standards and regulations
Drive continuous improvement of quality processes in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Define, track, and analyze quality KPIs across production, ensuring consistent product and component performance through regular inspections
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues across the entire product lifecycle, working closely with our suppliers, internal/external manufacturers, and engineering teams
Oversee Supplier Quality processes, including:
Preparing rejection reports and providing quality feedback throughout the product and component lifecycle
Defining and maintainingAcceptance Quality Levels (AQLs) and related technical documentation
Planning, coordinating, and following up on supplier audits and corrective actions
Your profile
A completed technical Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
Excellent English skills (C1 level) and good German skills (B2 level or higher)
Proven experience of 5+ years in production quality management and supplier quality management (ideally in the bicycle industry)
Strong understanding of electric and pedal bicycles, and corresponding development and manufacturing processes
Demonstrated ability to solve product issues from troubleshooting to implementation, and strong documentation skills
Ability to work in a team, but also independent
Great communication and stakeholder management skills, solution-oriented working style, adaptability, and resilience
Willingness to work on-site (ideally 2 days per week) at our headquarters in Leipzig-Plagwitz
Availability to travel nationally and internationally (up to 25%)
