Wir sind ein international wachsendes Unternehmen im Bereich nachhaltiger Mobilitätslösungen. Mit mehr als 300 Standorten in über 20 Ländern gestalten wir die Zukunft der urbanen Mobilität und entwickeln an unserem Leipziger Firmensitz Bike-Sharing-Systeme, die Städte lebenswerter und widerstandsfähiger machen. In unserem Software-Infrastructure-Team suchen wir Verstärkung, um unsere Produkte und Systeme mitzugestalten und weiterzuentwickeln. Folgende Aufgaben erwarten dich:
Du scoutest, evaluierst und prüfst neue Hardware, Sensoren, Funkstandards und Software-Frameworks für unsere zukünftigen IoT-Produkte
Führe Machbarkeitsstudien durch und entwickele Prototypen
Du analysierst und bewertest Markttrends und Forschungsergebnisse, um unsere technologische Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu sichern
Du entwickelst Firmware für unsere IoT-Produkte der Zukunft
Optimiere unsere Entwicklungsprozesse und führe neue Tools ein
Du arbeitest interdisziplinär mit unseren Teams aus Software, Elektronik und Mechanik zusammen, um technische Herausforderungen zu lösen
Dein Profil
Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium (Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Informationstechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation)
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mind. Niveau C1) und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (mind. C1)
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Embedded-/IoT-Forschungsprojekten
Fundierte Kenntnisse in Programmierung, hardwarenaher Entwicklung, Softwarearchitektur, Cybersecurity
Grundlegende Fähigkeiten im Umgang mit Hardware (Stromlaufpläne, Fehleranalyse, Messreihen)
Starkes Interesse und Erfahrung im Scouting neuer Technologien und Trends im Bereich IoT (insbesondere drahtlose Technologien, Bussysteme, Asset Tracking)
Ausgeprägte analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten mit einem Blick für das große Ganze
Da unsere Aufgaben viel Equipment und Hardware benötigen, solltest du mindestens 3 Tage pro Woche in Präsenz in unserem schönen Büro in Leipzig-Plagwitz arbeiten

Your mission
We are an internationally growing company in the field of sustainable mobility solutions. With more than 300 locations in over 20 countries, we are shaping the future of urban mobility and developing bike-sharing systems at our headquarters in Leipzig that make cities more livable and resilient. To strengthen our Software Infrastructure team, we are looking for support to help shape and further develop our products and systems. The following tasks await you:
You scout, evaluate, and test new hardware, sensors, wireless standards, and software frameworks for our future IoT products
You conduct feasibility studies and develop prototypes
Analyze and assessmarket trends and research findings to ensure our technological competitiveness
You develop firmware for our next-generation IoT products
Optimize our development processes and introduce new tools
You collaborate with our software, electronics, and mechanics teams to solve technical challenges
Your profile
Completed technical degree (computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or a comparable qualification)
Very good German skills (at least C1) and very good English skills (at least C1)
Several years of professional experience in embedded/firmware research projects
Solid knowledge in programming, hardware-related development, software architecture, and cybersecurity
Basic skills in working with hardware (circuit diagrams, error analysis, measurement series)
Strong interest in and experience with scouting new technologies and IoT trends (especially wireless technologies, bus systems, asset tracking)
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with an eye for the bigger picture
Since our tasks require a lot of equipment and hardware, you should work on-site in our beautiful office in Leipzig-Plagwitz at least three days per week
