International Account Manager (f/m/d) - remote

Your mission

We are a leading provider of public bike-sharing systems, operating thousands of bicycles and expanding into new cities every year to build cleaner, more connected communities through sustainable urban mobility. As an Account Manager, you are the primary owner of our relationships with partners—including cities, transport companies, and franchisees. You will ensure the financial sustainability of our systems in Portugal and Spain and strategically position us for successful re-tenders.

  • You’ll lead and manage the full partner lifecycle, acting as the main point of contact for municipalities and transport authorities.

  • Build and maintain high-trust relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and proactive communication regarding service changes and needs.

  • Own the financial performance of your assigned systems, managing accurate invoicing, payment follow-ups, and identifying growth opportunities to increase rental revenues.

  • Drive commercial expansion by identifying selling opportunities for fleet expansions, new features, advertising sales, and B2B services

  • Ensure contractual compliance by monitoring adherence to SLAs and internal KPIs to maintain the highest service quality.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations and Marketing teams to plan localized campaigns and pursue sponsorship opportunities.

  • Act as a strategic advisor during expansion handovers and project implementation phases, ensuring smooth transitions and safety compliance.

  • Escalate and resolve challenges promptly, from operational failures to financial blockers, ensuring a solution-oriented approach.

Your profile
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in Account Management, ideally working with municipalities or Public Transport Authorities (PTAs).

  • Native or fluent Portuguese and Spanish, along with professional English skills (minimum C1 level), are required.

  • Experience in micromobility, shared mobility, or smart city projects is a strong advantage.

  • You have a data-driven mindset and are comfortable managing financial targets and KPIs.

  • You are detail-oriented, pragmatic, and stress-resistant, with a proven ability to solve complex problems under pressure.

  • You are team-oriented and proactive, with excellent communication skills for high-level stakeholder interaction.

  • You are willing to travel frequently to our partner systems across the region.
