Portugal/Loulé
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your mission

We are a leading provider of public bike-sharing systems, operating thousands of bicycles and expanding into new cities every year to build cleaner, more connected communities.

As our Operations Coordinator in Loulé, you will be the operational heartbeat of our latest system rollout. You will start as a key on-site representative during the launch phase and transition into managing the smooth execution of daily operations, ensuring our fleet is always ready for our users, working closely with central teams and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.

  • You’ll lead the local rollout, serving as the on-site representative for Central Project Management to monitor installation quality and construction progress.

  • Act as the local interface, bridging communication between our international teams and Portuguese stakeholders, municipalities, and subcontractors.

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations, implementing standardized service processes for bike rebalancing, cleaning, and general street maintenance.

  • Oversee warehouse and fleet logistics, managing local service vehicles and ensuring all equipment—from hardware to safety gear—is accounted for.

  • Manage resource and shift planning, ensuring we have the right number of drivers and service staff on the ground to meet city demand.

  • Monitor system performance, tracking rental numbers and active bike counts to ensure we consistently meet our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Support team growth, assisting with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of Service Drivers and maintenance staff, and acting as the primary point of contact for the local team.

  • Optimize workflows, performing technical testing on new stations and proactively improving operational processes to keep the system running efficiently.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in operations, logistics, or team coordination, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English or Spanish.

  • Strong technical affinity for bicycles and mechanics, with the ability to oversee and troubleshoot repair workflows.

  • Comfortable working with data and KPIs to track performance and improve operations.

  • Leadership potential, with the ability to support, train, and motivate a local ground team.

  • Reliable and detail-oriented, maintaining high standards across daily operations.

Benefits

  • A job with impact: Be at the forefront of launching a sustainable mobility system that improves life in Loulé.

  • Permanent contract with a competitive local benefits package, currently being finalized for the Portuguese market.

  • Growth & Development: Access to professional development opportunities and training on our specialized mobility products and software.
